This also means that the game can now boast of being among the most successful in the series ever, where only three other Resident Evil titles have managed to exceed ten million copies sold: Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil 2 Remake is currently the series' best-selling title with over 13.9 million copies sold, and Resident Evil Village became the fastest-selling game in the series after selling over ten million copies in three years. Well-deserved success for Capcom, and the question is what's next from the team.
