Next Battlefield Expected Before April 2026
EA plans to launch the next Battlefield game within the next 14 months. The company revealed this in their latest quarterly report.
According to the report, the series' next release is expected to happen during fiscal year 2026. This means the game will arrive sometime between April 1st this year and March 31st next year.
This is perhaps a bit earlier than expected, given the company's statements earlier this week. In connection with the unveiling of the test program Battlefield Labs, EA explained that the project was in its early development phase – without giving any further explanation of exactly what that meant.
Through Battlefield Labs, the development studios plan to invite thousands of players to test and provide feedback on upcoming Battlefield experiences.
Exactly what will be tested remains to be seen, but in a trailer for Battlefield Labs – which you can see at the top of the article – we got a tiny glimpse of what players can expect. Here we see modern warfare in a setting that in the video appeared to be reminiscent of the Middle East.
