Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Release Date Leaked Early

The remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 will launch on August 28 this year. This has been revealed through what appears to be a leak from the PlayStation Store.

Developer Konami had previously stated that the remake project would launch during the year. The exact timing had been kept secret, but it now appears it will be released in the summer.

Multiple sources report that the game's PlayStation Store listing shows August 28 as the release date. Of course, we cannot say anything with absolute certainty until there's official confirmation, but for now, there's much to suggest that the leak is accurate.

A trailer uploaded via ResetEra also includes the August date. The video shows more gameplay, as well as a glimpse of Snake vs. Monkey – the classic mini-game that's returning in the remake.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – the remake's full name – is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
