Summer Game Fest 2025 Here are the dates for this year's Summer Game Fest

Summer Game Fest has established itself in recent years as a replacement for E3. This summer, the gaming circus kicks off again, and Geoff Keighley has announced the dates for this year's celebration.

The event will be held June 6-9 in Los Angeles, the organizer confirmed this week.

As in previous years, it starts with a major show on day one. Summer Game Fest 2025 promises news about upcoming games from over 40 game publishers, but exactly who and what will be involved hasn't been confirmed yet.

This will be followed by Play Days, with additional presentations and opportunities to test games for people who are present in Los Angeles.

During Summer Game Fest, several of the industry's biggest players typically hold their own shows. Xbox usually does its own thing the same week, while PlayStation has tended to showcase a bit in advance.

What the plan will be this year remains to be seen.
