Forza Horizon 6 Official Initial Drive Gameplay: First 6 Minutes of Japan’s Stunning Open-World Festival

6:22

Buckle up - this is the real deal. The official Forza channel just dropped the first six minutes of Forza Horizon 6, and it’s everything we’ve been waiting for since the Japan reveal.

We’re thrown straight into the action behind the wheel of four very different machines: the 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo tearing past bullet trains, the 2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck launching off snow-covered jumps in the Japanese Alps, the 1995 Porsche 911 GT2 carving up the legendary touge mountain roads, and the 2025 GR GT Prototype — Toyota Gazoo Racing’s cover car — showing exactly why it’s the poster child for FH6.

The open world looks absolutely massive and ridiculously beautiful: neon-lit city streets, misty mountain passes, coastal highways, and that unmistakable Horizon Festival energy. Over 550 real-world cars, dynamic weather, and the biggest map the series has ever delivered.

Forza Horizon 6 launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC (including Steam), and day-one with Game Pass on May 19, 2026. PlayStation 5 version arrives later in 2026. Premium Edition players get Early Access starting May 15.

If you’ve been counting down the days for Forza in Japan, this initial drive is your first proper taste. The sense of speed, the detail in the environments, the way the cars feel completely different from one another — Playground Games has absolutely cooked.
