Hint of a New Tony Hawk in Call of Duty
Found a Hint of a Tony Hawk Announcement in Call of Duty
In recent years, more and more hints have surfaced suggesting that Activision is about to dust off the Tony Hawk series. Exactly what’s in store has remained unclear, but now it seems an announcement is just around the corner.
As reported by CharlieIntel, the latest hint about more skateboarding action comes via Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The multiplayer map Grind features the date March 4th, alongside a clear reference to the Tony Hawk logo.
The fact that this date appears in a skateboard shop hasn’t gone unnoticed by players either.
Both Tony Hawk himself and Xbox, which owns Activision, have commented on the image CharlieIntel posted on X. This leaves little doubt that we’ll hear about the future of the Tony Hawk series at the start of next month.
The only question now is whether it’s a brand-new game or yet another remaster project, like the excellent Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 from 2020.
