A Work in Progress
Quick note: PoE2's early access means the game's evolving fast. The campaign you play through today might have new secrets tomorrow. I'm keeping this guide fresh with every major update, so bookmark it if you want to stay in the loop.
Get Ready for Path of Exile 2
Finally, it's happening. After years of waiting, Path of Exile 2 launches into Early Access next month. I've dug through all the announcement details to give you the straight facts about what's coming.
Launch Time & Platforms December 6th, 2024. 11am PST.
You can jump in on:
- •PC (pick your poison: Steam, Epic, or standalone client)
- •PS5
- •Xbox Series X|S
Mac players, I feel your pain - no support at launch, but it's coming later.
Getting Your Hands on Early Access There are two ways in:
- •Buy one of the new Early Access Supporter Packs
- •Already spent $480+ on PoE1? You're in automatically!
What's Actually in the Game? Don't let "Early Access" fool you. We're talking three meaty acts, 50 boss fights, and 400 different monsters to slay. And that's just the start – they're planning to double the content during Early Access.
The Good News
- •Your PoE1 account works with PoE2
- •No character wipes during Early Access
- •Couch co-op available from day one
- •Most of your PoE1 stash tabs carry over
- •Stream all you want - no NDA!
The Fine Print
- •Early Access runs at least 6 months
- •Not all PoE1 MTX available immediately (but they're working on it)
- •Platform-specific purchases don't merge
- •PlayStation users can grab Supporter Packs on launch day
Pro Tip: Check your lifetime purchases on the website under "View transactions" before contacting support about access. Only pre-Early Access purchases count toward that $480 threshold.
